Chapter Timeline

1023 BCE - The Battle of Sil'asdra sees the fall of Melandrisia and the Melaer people, as far as the universe is aware there were no survivors. Underworld is blamed for the planet's destruction.
1001 BCE - Prince Isaan of Underworld goes missing in pursuit of the the dream world, Aurela, nobody is able to trace him down but many speculate he met his end somehow.
936 BCE - The Protectorate is the victim of repeated attacks over the course of the last century, leaving it a shadow of its former self. The last remaining founder world, Pyra, now stands alone.
735 BCE - Isaan reappears, causing the mortal and immortal realms to be filled with rumours that he actually found the fabled Aurela, many who knew him note whatever he found had clearly changed him.
600 BCE - War resumes between Underworld and Overworld in the immortal realm after a tense treaty that has lasted at least three thousand years, this time the war begins to leak into the mortal realm.
519 BCE - Isaan forms the group Midnight with the aid of fellow Devils, Rainak, Liandri and his son Seth'ryal. Midnight quickly makes an impression on the universe as it begins its crusade to hunt down and destroy demonic influences.
245 BCE - Signs of surviving Melaer begin to come to light after a Melaer battlecruiser, The Ruby-Gold rescues a trade transport headed for Pyra from attacking pirates. However, the ship enters slipstream after the rescue and is not heard from again.
135 BCE - The Melaer lifeship, The Ascendia, is reportedly spotted in several systems in the Terra Galaxy, prompting an ambassadorial ship to be sent from Pyra to seek out the ship but to no avail.
42 BCE - Midnight inquisitors begin to retreat from the universe and it is rumoured they are gathering for something big, Isaan and the other Devils who came to serve in Midnight cut off contact with Underworld and no trail is left to track them down.
1 BCE - The skies over Aurela are filled with a brilliant aurora of purple light that blankets the entire planet every night, some on the planet fear that it's an ill omen whilst others believe it may be a sign of good things to come.


1 CE - The aurora over Aurela suddenly ceases and the skies return to normal. Little to the knowledge of the dream world's occupants, the same night the aurora vanishes Midnight arrives on the planet in the form of two hundred inquisitors led by Grand Inquisitor Isaan and High Inquisitors Rainak, Liandri and Seth'ryal.
