Personality: To people who don't know him, Altieran is merely somebody with an overinflated ego and a massive sex drive. Though this is the case, it is not without reason. Altieran at heart is a kind-hearted, caring and loving person who wishes nothing more than to aid those he calls his allies in any way possible. His flamboyance and ego are simply the only way he has found to keep his inner devil, Wrath, in check. Wrath seeks constantly to degrade Altieran, in order to weaken the barriers he has erected in his mind to keep the ancient evil at bay, and control Altieran's body to wreak havoc upon those closest to the young prince.

History: Born to an infertile mortal woman who had made a deal with Krell to give her a son, Altieran knew nothing of his true heritage as he grew up among mortals. He realised as he grew up that he had powers quite unlike anything the planet he called home had ever seen, for they had no knowledge of the Divine Order. This led to him being both loved and hated by those around him. He used his powers to help people in need, though many still feared what he could do: and rightly so. Upon reaching "adulthood" - a few hundred years old, as the race of mortals he lived with were particularly long-lived - he began hearing a strange voice in his mind, urging him to do terrible, unspeakable things. Not wishing to alarm anyone, he kept it to himself. Little did he know, however, that this voice was Wrath, his inner devil, manifesting within him. During the annual spring festival in his home city (ironically a celebration of new life), Wrath chose to take control of the young Altieran and slaughtered everyone around him, burning the city to the ground and leaving it in ruins. Upon regaining control of his body, Altieran looked around himself and broke down, utterly terrified of what he had done - though he was fully concious of his actions, he couldn't have done a thing about it. Now that his mother was dead, the deal that had resulted in his birth had been fulfilled, and Altieran was magically transported to the palace in Underworld.

Alone and afraid, Altieran sat huddled and weeping in a corner, until along came Seth, who took him to a room and explained everything to him - who he was, where he was and, most importantly, what he was. He developed a strong connection to Seth, who helped keep his Inner Devil in check, and accompanied him to training sessions and all other manner of things which a young prince of Underworld was expected to partake in. After many years of mindless debauchery (and even a time spent as lead singer of Underworlds most popular glam rock band), Altieran eventually joined his brothers in Midnight, where he quickly rose through the ranks to become Inquisitor 1st class and leader of his own hand-picked squad, thanks to his mastery of both magic and combat with his Scythe. Though less frequent, Wrath still manages to gain control at times, and it is in these his darkest moments, that he looks to his family to support him.
